With the weather getting nicer and nicer, I thought I would share a lighter, more spring-time look with you. Today I wanted to incorporate this amazing, light floral jacket with a basic and neutral color palette underneath. I started with a light and airy high-necked tank, which is simple but elegant. To add a little bit of color, and to break up the white’s and black’s, these nude drawstring shorts were perfect. They added the perfect amount of subtle color, while being unbelievably comfortable. For shoes, I chose a pair of classic white leather slip-on Vans. They are very versatile and add a comfy, but still look put together. I added some of my favorite silver rings, along with this silver embellished leather chord choker to add a little edge to the look. Finishing off the look, my new gold-rimmed circle sunnies did the trick. I’m absolutely in love with them and will be wearing them all summer.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! x

So I have a really cool, awesome post for you today. I was completely inspired by Dailylook’s versatile Little Black Dress selection and couldn’t wait to create my own style-board on how I would style an LBD in the spring time! This spring I’m definitely going for the boho-chic look.
After debating which dress was my favorite (which was pretty hard..) I went with their Gauzy Boho Dress which I’m in love with. It’s great for spring, especially with its effortless look and light texture. This spring I hope to explore and spend time with friends going to new places – especially cool hidden cafes and vintage shops:) For shoes, I chose Dailylook’s awesome pair of Ankle Strap Platform Heels by Kelsi Dagger. I love how platform sandals are so comfortable, while being unbelievably cute. Although this LBD has a cool feminine flare all to itself, it was still definitely necessary to spice things up with lots of accessories! I went with these awesome Ray Ban round sunnies to keep my eyes protected, while adding style. I’m in love with all circle-shaped glasses – they are so cool and add such an edge to any look. For jewelry, it’s all about layering. Layering simple necklaces together is a must, and I’m in love with Dailylook’s selection! You can also never go wrong with lots of rings, so it’s important to wear them on every finger:) To hold all my spring essentials, I will definitely be grabbing a cross-body bag. I’m loving this fringe texture, it’s a simple way to add a cool look to your outfit. I’ve also been seeing these metallic temporary tattoo’s everywhere, and I love them! I will definitely be trying them out this spring:)
Lastly, I must share this awesome free clothing trial offer that Dailylook has for it’s new customers! The Elite Box is a monthly box of hand-picked fashion items, customized for you by your very own personal stylist and sent directly to your home. If you love Dailylook’s clothing as much as I do, definitely check this out! It’s a perfect way to try on new looks – without needing to go anywhere!!
Hope the rest of your week goes well! x
Summer is finally here and I am definitely ready to pull out my summer wardrobe and pack up the sweaters. For today’s outfit I kept it pretty casual, adding a pattered blouse and some staple accessories. I’m really into the peasant-inspired look this summer. Its feminine, flirty, and casual, yet being stylish 🙂 This one I’m wearing today is definitely my favorite, and I’m especially loving how light and flowy it is for the warmer weather. The blouse has simple tassels that tie at the top, which adds a cute detail to the busy floral/paisley pattern. To keep the bottoms casual, I grabbed a pair of trusty light-wash shorts. You can’t go wrong with a pair of denim cut-offs in the summer! They are definitely a staple in my wardrobe. For my accessories, I added these adorable vintage circle-shaped glasses, which are currently my go-to pair right now. They are honestly my shortcut to instantly spice up any outfit. I also added some of my staple jewelry pieces, including my two favorite gold necklaces, along with my silver ring with a turquoise stone. To finish the look off, I slipped on these camel colored sandals which added a nice “boho” touch to the outfit. They don’t have too much going on, so they ended up matching perfectly with the look.
Before I go, I wanted to share with you an cool new project I’m delighted to be involved with! An awesome site, called Raise.com has created a campaign called “Closet Swap,” showcasing different upcoming summer looks and trends. Raise.com is a marketplace where you are able to turn unused gift cards into cash! You can shop for discounted gift cards ranging from Forever 21 to Kohl’s. Its completely awesome and will definitely come in handy – you won’t have to worry about those gift cards you have no idea what to do with! I definitely recommend checking it out.
Hope this warm weather look inspired you! xx

For today’s post, I thought I would switch it up with showing you how I make my Signature Salad! Summer is coming, so i’m all about fresh ingredients and light flavors. This salad is very easy to make, yet so so yummy! Its very customizable to whatever you like, so definitely change it up! 🙂
P.S. – I’ve really been into taking pictures of yummy foods… (aka – my instagram ‘@thefashionbooster‘), so this post definitely showcases that obsession.
Pick your lettuce of choice, and take about 3-4 leaves (depending on size) – Rinse thoroughly with cold water and pat to dry. It’s very important to wash your lettuce especially when its organic, you don’t want little creatures left on your leaves!
Cut your lettuce to the desired size, and place into a bowl.
This is the exciting part – choose your favorite toppings! If needed, dice them to your desired size. If your making a salad for yourself (like I am), make sure to only take as much as you will eat!
These ingredients are some of my favorite salad must-haves. If your not into these, definitely switch them up – the more toppings, the better!
**It’s important to have protein as one of your add-in’s, to keep you fuller throughout the day!**
Add all ingredients together, and toss with your desired dressing.
And voila! Your personal, simple and tasty lunch (or dinner) is complete!

Hope everyone’s week is going great!
Yesterday, I spent the day walking around Manhattan, exploring many different and cool vintage/thrift shops. It was so fun rummaging through unique clothing items and accessories, with a story behind each piece. One of my favorite’s of the day was No Relation Vintage, a vintage store packed with reasonably priced, awesome pieces. It was a long day, but completely worth it! I was lucky to pick up many cool finds, especially these amazing vintage sunglasses. On the topic of glasses, I came across this great, vintage eyewear boutique with the most welcoming staff. Fabulous Fanny’s is filled with vintage cat-eye, oversized and circular glasses, which all caught my attention. Be sure to ask to see the private collection in the back! It’s safe to say that my next pair of frames will definitely be coming from them! I also ate some pretty yummy foods, including this tasty spinach, pear and brie panini from The Crooked Tree. To top a wonderful day off, a cone at the Big Gay Ice-Cream Shop hit the spot:) While walking around, I found this completely awesome graffiti wall, so obviously, pictures were a must. I kept the outfit pretty casual and comfortable, so I played up the basics with some accessories, including my silver rings, layered necklaces, and of course, a cool pair of sunnies.

First impressions are often the ones that matter most. It’s one of the main reasons we dress a certain way: business for the office, feminine for a first date, sporty for game day. Just like clothes say something about our personality, so do sunglasses. Read on to find out what your favorite style of sunglasses say about you:
Angelina Jolie in aviators. Image via StyleBistro.com
Aviators: If teardrop-shaped frames are your favorite, then you are leader. You are tough and you know what you want. You can make a career out of your personality type, such as joining the military or police forces. Or you can just go ahead and act like it.
Dwayne Wade in flip-ups. Image via sports.yahoo.com
Flip-ups: You’re indecisive as can be if you can’t even decide if you should wear glasses or sunglasses! The good news is you might be onto something, like the comeback of a trend. Not everyone dares to wear something as bold as flip-ups.

Oversized: The sunglasses of the stars: you either are one, or want to be one. You may seem like a private person, but you’re really not afraid to be the center of attention. Chances are, you might just be lazy and want to hide your lack of makeup.
Anna dello Russo in embellished sunglasses
Embellished: You’re all about fashion and looking different. You don’t care about comfort as much as you do about trends, which can sometimes actually hurt your health. Step off of those stilettos once in a while, and watch the world from ground level.

Cat eye: You’re literally just like the sunglasses you wear: a cat. You might be nice and purr at times, but one may never know when you decide to bite. A well-known trend in the ’50s and ’60s, cat eye sunglasses are linked with dazzling vintage fashion, and were used to be a favorite of the legendary Audrey Hepburn. Recently, these sunglasses have been making a rebound in the form of stylish shades.

Sports: You’re either an athlete, or just a practical kind of person. You want want you wear to be functional first of all, even if means giving up on style. You’re pragmatic, comfortable with who you are, and focused on what you need to do.
