Hope your week is going well 🙂
After a long weekend of snow, it’s actually starting to get nicer out. I still froze while being outside.. but at least the beautiful sun was out:) It was the perfect time for me to wear this awesome black Topshop Bomber Jacket. It keeps me warm while not being too bulky.
The jacket is also pretty simple, so the thick silver detailing adds interest. Underneath, I kept the outfit minimal, wearing a simple black turtleneck and high-waisted black jeans. I also wore my chunky, chocolate brown Doc Marten Chelsea Boots. To finish off, I wore my round sunglasses, and of course, my favorite silver rings.
Stay warm! xo
Happy New Year!!
It’s actually finally starting to feel like winter, and I am personally very pleased with the cooler weather. This means no more difficulty getting ready.. and no shame in endless layering 🙂
To make the winter season even more amazing, I am proud to share that I’ve partnered with JORD Watches; a completely awesome company that makes cutting-edge, all-natural trendy wood watches. To make things even more amazing, I was asked to pick my favorite watch from their current collection (which was way too difficult), and was sent their beautiful piece to wear. I’ve played around with different outfits, adding this JORD time-piece as the perfect finishing touch to many of my looks. I can safely say the possibilities are endless.
When choosing my JORD watch, I specifically looked for one that I could see myself wearing many times, and would go with many outfits. After much contemplation, I finally chose the Fieldcrest Dark Sandalwood Watch. Along with the beautiful colors catching my eye, I love the authentic look of the crafted wood. The dark color palette deeply accentuates the natural material as well.
JORD is such an impressive company, and I’m so happy to partner in sharing their timeless creations.
Definitely check out the JORD website! xx
Hope the start of your week has been going great 🙂
Since fall is finally here, I wanted to take full advantage of the cooler weather to wear these awesome printed pants. They have such an amazing and cool pattern, while not being overwhelming at all. I styled the rest of my outfit around them, making them pop. To keep the outfit comfortable, I wore an oversized white crew-necked tee which I tucked into the pants, adding shape. On top, I wore my favorite burgundy jean jacket which added the perfect amount of color and coverage to the look. To give me an inch or two of extra height, I wore my white platform slip-ons which add interest to the outfit, while keeping it simple. I kept it easy with accessories, adding my favorite silver rings, and go-to sunglasses. I kept my eye makeup simple with thin winged eyeliner, and also wore a pop of color on the lips to compliment my jacket.
Hope you enjoyed this look and wishing you an awesome rest of the week! x

Today, I went on the hunt for an interesting, urban-looking background. While walking around, I found the back of this cool rusted truck, which was perfect for what I was looking for.
For the outfit, I wanted to lighten it up in celebration of spring with this v-necked cream tunic. It’s easy to wear, while the crochet adds a feminine, pretty detail. Under it, I wore a black strappy bralette to add some edge to the look. I can honestly add an interesting bralette under anything and make a look more interesting. For the pants, I wore my army-inspired grey cargo ankle skinnies. I also added my black chelsea boots to balance out the detailed top. For accessories, I wore two of my favorite chokers and my favorite silver gemmed rings. To add the finishing touch to my outfit, my new warm-toned mirrored sunnies did the trick. I’m absolutely obsessed with them, and I’m loving their unique style.
To tie the look together, I chose a bold, dark purple lip. With this, I kept it simple on the eyes. I’m completely into a bold lip to finish off any look.
Hope the rest of your week goes well!

Today I was snowed in, and to entertain myself I took some pictures in the house for my Instagram account, @alllison.rae (be sure to follow me!) I took some pretty cool photos and wanted to share some with of my favorites with you!
I wanted to incorporate this comfy red and black plaid flannel, which I paired with these cool olive green pants. To add something to the look, I put on this awesome faux fur vest. It added the perfect amount of excitement to the picture. Because of the tom-boyish look I was going for with the buttoned up flannel, I couldn’t help but adding in my favorite baseball cap. (Go Yankees !!) To add a feminine touch, two of my favorite brass/gold rings did the trick! I ultimately decided to go with the birds-eye view picture (first) to post on my instagram. I thought the different angle was unlike anything i’ve posted so far.
Hope your week has been a good one! xx

So this sunday I spent a relaxing day waking around the Meatpacking District in NYC. My favorite stop would have to have been the beautiful Gansevoort Market. I love the style of the building and its shabby-chic details such as the distressed brick walls and beautiful nature accents. It’s definitely Instagram worthy! Along taking lots of pictures, I got to try a couple of different things from their wide selection of food stands. For lunch, I had a very yummy brick-oven margarita pizza from Luzzo’s. It was so fresh and amazing, a quick pic was a must! I also couldn’t resist trying some of Dana’s Bakery Macaroon’s which were very delicious. The cookies looked like individual pieces of art; their colors are out of this world! After the market, I visited one of my favorite cafe’s around the corner, Kava. I got a warming cappuccino which so yummy, yet beautiful. The barista made a cute heart design in the foam which I thought was so cool! It was a perfect place to stop to grab a warm treat.
While walking around, I saw lots of interesting walls filled with graffiti and different textures, along with the streets being very cool, (this meaning pictures of my outfit were a must). I recently got this army-inspired cargo jacket, which I’m in love with. I love how it’s simple and versatile, yet having many different accents including the plaid hood, and faux leather touches. Under this, I paired my trusty black high-waisted jeans with a comfy, masculine 3-quarter buttoned sweater. For walking around, I thought my new grey slip-on Vans would be perfect! I’m 100% going to be living in these this season. They are so comfortable and will go with pretty much everything! For accessories, I put on some of my go-to rings, and layered two of my favorite gold necklaces. It added a nice feminine touch to my look.
This outfit was very wearable for walking around, and ensured me to be comfortable all day! If you live in/around NYC, I definitely recommend checking out the Gansevoort Market and the Meat Packing District area, it’s a completely cool place and I will definitely be going back! Hope this look inspired you 🙂 xx
