Happy New Year!!

It’s actually finally starting to feel like winter, and I am personally¬†very pleased with the cooler weather. This means no more difficulty getting ready.. and no shame in endless layering ūüôā

To make the winter¬†season even more amazing, I am proud to share that I’ve partnered with JORD Watches; a completely awesome company that makes cutting-edge, all-natural¬†trendy wood watches. ¬†To make things even more amazing, I was asked¬†to pick my favorite watch¬†from their current collection (which was way too difficult), and was sent their beautiful piece to wear. I’ve played¬†around with different outfits, adding this JORD time-piece as the perfect finishing touch¬†to many of my¬†looks. I can safely say the possibilities are endless.

When choosing my JORD watch, I specifically looked for one that I could see myself wearing many times, and would go with many outfits.  After much contemplation, I finally chose the Fieldcrest Dark Sandalwood Watch. Along with the beautiful colors catching my eye, I love the authentic look of the crafted wood.  The dark color palette deeply accentuates the natural material as well.

JORD is such¬†an¬†impressive company, and I’m so happy to partner in¬†sharing their timeless creations.

Definitely check out the JORD website! xx

Hope your weekend has been great ūüôā

I’ve been anticipating cold weather for so long.. I’m definitely ready for winter. ¬†Although it’s still pretty nice here in NY, it’s cool enough for me to layer up. ¬†My¬†day was spent walking around outside, so layering was necessary.¬†¬†I decided to create a¬†look around these awesome plaid trousers. ¬†To do so, I made sure to keep the rest of my outfit pretty simple, playing up¬†different shapes and textures. ¬†I bought this cool black-netted halter tank over the summer and instead of putting it away for next¬†summer, I chose¬†to incorporate it into today’s outfit. ¬†Because of the cooler temperatures, I layered the tank on top of this grey long-sleeve turtleneck. ¬†With the¬†turtleneck being¬†so simple, the netted texture definitely added interest to the top. ¬†To add extra warmth, I added¬†this black collarless wool coat. ¬†The¬†long¬†shape and texture always add something cool to every¬†look. ¬†I kept my shoes pretty comfortable, wearing white leather platform slip-ons. They add¬†about an inch or two, and give¬†a minimalistic feel. ¬†I kept my makeup simple, winging out my eyeliner. ¬†To finish off, I wore my favorite sunglasses, as well as my everyday silver rings.

hope you enjoy the upcoming week ūüôā¬†x

Hoping everyone’s week went well! Mine was pretty busy with school work so i’m happy I can now relax! Today was definitely extra chilly, so much warmth was needed. (I definitely wore a coat, but for the purpose of this post, I froze a little:)) ¬†I’ve seen the whole button-up under the sweater trend for quite some time, so I couldn’t wait to try it out! ¬†For this look, I went with a pretty neutral color palette, including mostly greys, whites and lil bit of black. ¬†I recently found this cozy turtle-neck sweater which I was dying to wear, so to add something extra, I paired a sheer white button-up under it. ¬†Keeping the bottom simple but exciting, I went for these black “shimmery” snake-skin printed skinnies. ¬†To add some shape, I rolled up the bottoms (of course) and slipped on these awesome studded platform high-tops. ¬†They are from a few seasons¬†ago, but i’m still in awe over them. ¬†For accessories, I wore some of my favorite rings, along with this charmed choker necklace. ¬†It’s actually supposed to be a wrap bracelet, but i’m kinda loving how it looks around my neck! ¬†To finish off the look, I added this grey beanie which I will be living in all winter.

Hope this inspired you ūüôā – xx

A Day in NYC – Gansevoort Market

gansevoort 2 gansevoort1 pizza coffeee

Hi everyone!

So this sunday I spent a relaxing day waking around the Meatpacking District in NYC. ¬†My favorite stop would have to have been the beautiful Gansevoort Market. ¬†I love the style of the building and its shabby-chic details such as the distressed brick walls and beautiful nature accents. ¬†It’s definitely Instagram worthy! ¬†Along taking lots of pictures, I got to try a couple of different things from their wide selection of food stands. ¬†For lunch, I had a very yummy brick-oven margarita pizza from Luzzo’s. ¬†It was so fresh and amazing, a quick pic was a must! ¬†I also couldn’t resist trying some of Dana’s Bakery Macaroon’s¬†which were very delicious. ¬†The cookies looked like individual pieces of art; their colors are out of this world!¬†After the market, I visited one of my favorite cafe’s around the corner, Kava. I got a warming cappuccino which so yummy, yet beautiful. ¬†The barista made a cute heart design in the foam which I thought was so cool! It was a perfect place to stop to grab a warm treat.

While walking around, I saw lots of interesting walls filled with graffiti and different textures, along with the streets being very cool, (this meaning pictures of my outfit were a must). ¬†I recently got this army-inspired cargo jacket, which I’m in love with. ¬†I love how it’s simple and versatile, yet having many different accents including the plaid hood, and faux leather touches. Under this, I paired my trusty black high-waisted jeans with a comfy, masculine 3-quarter buttoned sweater. ¬†For walking around, I thought my new grey slip-on Vans would be perfect! ¬†I’m 100% going to be living in these this season. ¬†They are so comfortable and will go with pretty much everything! For accessories, I put on some of my go-to rings, and layered two of my favorite gold necklaces. It added a nice feminine touch to my look.

This outfit was very wearable for walking around, and ensured me to be comfortable all day! ¬†If you live in/around NYC, I definitely recommend checking out the Gansevoort Market and the Meat Packing District area, it’s a completely cool place and I will definitely be going back! ¬†Hope this look inspired you ūüôā xx

Fall Fashion

Hello everyone –¬†Hope your long holiday weekend was¬†great!

Yesterday I spent a fun fall day walking around the city, took a great fashion class, ate amazing Greek food at Uncle Nicks on 9th Ave and saw the off-broadway show, iLuminate!  My amazing dance choreographer is starring in it, and she was so awesome!! (I definitely recommend you all go see it!)

Taking the day’s events¬†into consideration, I wanted to keep my outfit simple, chic and comfortable. ¬†I paired favorite, must-have black skinnies with an¬†oversized beige knit sweater, which I’m so in love with. ¬†Rolling¬†up the sleeves gave¬†my¬†sweater¬†more shape and¬†I’ve rolled the bottom of my¬†jeans too.

These black leather Silence and Noise boots are one of my new obsessions, especially because they match with absolutely everything!  I love the thick rubber tread bottom and the comfortable stretchy sides.

For accessories I kept it pretty simple, adding a choker necklace and two of my favorite silver rings.  To carry my daily necessities, I wore this brown & gold embellished cross-body bag, which was the perfect size for the day.

Hope this inspires you!! xx

Summer Essentials —

Hope everyone is doing great:) Today I wanted to share some of my main essentials for this season! I recently picked up some things that will definitely be some of¬†my go-to pieces for putting together most outfits. ¬†My first summer must-have would definitely have be comfy tee’s. ¬†I live in big t-shirts all year long, whether layered under a sweater, or with a pair of shorts. ¬†Above, are two of my favorite trends this summer – tie-die and ripped-up tees. ¬†The colorful tie die is great for summer and I’m definitely planning to incorporate these bright colors¬†into my wardrobe! ¬†The distressed tees are also pretty cool; i’m excited to experiment with different outfit looks! I’m also really into patterned denim shorts. These ones are from Spikes and Seams and i’m kinda in love… The plaid print is so different from anything i’ve seen, so I definitely had to try them out!

For accessories, my go-to sunnies have to be my Ray-Ban aviators. ¬†I have had these for 2 years, and i’m pretty sure they won’t ever go out of style! ¬†I’m also loving cross-body bags, especially this one by Street Level which I will be carrying around all summer. ¬†For shoes, I recently purchased these awesome slip on loafers/sneakers. ¬†I’ve seen this style everywhere in different colors, textures and patterns. ¬†I think they’re completely cool and can’t wait to get more wears out of them!

Hope this inspires you!

A Day in NYC: The East Village

Hope everyone’s week is going great!

Yesterday, I spent the day walking around Manhattan, exploring many different and cool vintage/thrift shops. It was so fun rummaging through unique clothing items and accessories, with a story behind each piece. One of my favorite’s of the day was No Relation Vintage, a vintage store packed with reasonably priced, awesome pieces. It was a long day, but completely worth it! I was lucky to pick up many¬†cool finds, especially these amazing¬†vintage sunglasses. ¬†On the topic of glasses, I came across this great, vintage eyewear boutique with the most welcoming staff. ¬†Fabulous Fanny’s is filled with vintage cat-eye, oversized and circular glasses, which all caught my attention. ¬†Be sure to ask to see the private collection in the back! ¬†It’s safe to say that my next pair of frames¬†will definitely be coming from them! ¬†I also ate some pretty yummy foods, including this tasty spinach, pear and brie panini from The Crooked Tree.¬† To top a wonderful day off, a cone at the Big Gay Ice-Cream Shop¬†hit the spot:)¬†While walking around, I found this completely awesome graffiti wall, so obviously, pictures were a must. I kept the outfit pretty casual and comfortable, so I played up the basics with some accessories, including my silver rings, layered necklaces, and of course, a cool pair of sunnies.
