Fancy Pants

Hello everyone!

Hope the start of your week has been going great ūüôā

Since fall is finally here, I wanted to take full advantage of the cooler weather to wear these awesome printed pants.  They have such an amazing and cool pattern, while not being overwhelming at all.  I styled the rest of my outfit around them, making them pop.  To keep the outfit comfortable, I wore an oversized white crew-necked tee which I tucked into the pants, adding shape.  On top, I wore my favorite burgundy jean jacket which added the perfect amount of color and coverage to the look.  To give me an inch or two of extra height, I wore my white platform slip-ons which add interest to the outfit, while keeping it simple.  I kept it easy with accessories, adding my favorite silver rings, and go-to sunglasses.  I kept my eye makeup simple with thin winged eyeliner, and also wore a pop of color on the lips to compliment my jacket.

Hope you enjoyed this look and wishing you an awesome rest of the week! x

Hello everyone!

Hope your enjoying the first days of spring !! (& still snowy in NY…)

Since it’s still very chilly, I wanted to post another winter outfit. Today was all about patterns, especially stripes. I paired a warm, oversized navy knit sweater over this delicate white and navy pin-stripe button up. I love how it peeks out from the top and bottom of the sweater. To play with more stripes, I wore my favorite dark grey velvet-textured striped boot-leg jeans. They add an exciting detail to the outfit. I’m loving the striped pieces against each other;¬†pairing two patterns together, without being overwhelmingly crazy. For shoes, I wore my new cheetah platform slip-ons (which I will be wearing all spring). They not only compliment the outfit with the subtle cheetah print, but give me an inch or two:). For accessories, I added some of my favorite silver, turquoise and onyx rings. I also couldn’t resist from wearing my favorite vintage circle sunnies. To add a pop of color, I wore a deep red lip and kept it subtle on the eyes with a classic winged black liner. I also twisted a piece of hair and pinned it back to frame my face. (I love doing both sides of my hair, but for today I kept it to just one).

Wishing you an amazing rest of the weekend! x

Hello!

Hoping everyone’s week went well! Mine was pretty busy with school work so i’m happy I can now relax! Today was definitely extra chilly, so much warmth was needed. (I definitely wore a coat, but for the purpose of this post, I froze a little:)) ¬†I’ve seen the whole button-up under the sweater trend for quite some time, so I couldn’t wait to try it out! ¬†For this look, I went with a pretty neutral color palette, including mostly greys, whites and lil bit of black. ¬†I recently found this cozy turtle-neck sweater which I was dying to wear, so to add something extra, I paired a sheer white button-up under it. ¬†Keeping the bottom simple but exciting, I went for these black “shimmery” snake-skin printed skinnies. ¬†To add some shape, I rolled up the bottoms (of course) and slipped on these awesome studded platform high-tops. ¬†They are from a few seasons¬†ago, but i’m still in awe over them. ¬†For accessories, I wore some of my favorite rings, along with this charmed choker necklace. ¬†It’s actually supposed to be a wrap bracelet, but i’m kinda loving how it looks around my neck! ¬†To finish off the look, I added this grey beanie which I will be living in all winter.

Hope this inspired you ūüôā – xx

As seen on the beautiful, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Lily Collins, and many other inspiring celebrities, the red lip has been a statement around for a very long time. I believe the color will never go out of style, because it is so versatile and has such a history. The lip shape created with this amazing color brings such a “pop” to an ordinary makeup look. My favorite way to apply such a bold color is to grab a simple lip brush, pick up some of the color from the lipstick onto the brush, and start creating your desired shape. To complete the clean line, use a concealer brush and conceal the sharp edge around your lip. Anyone can rock the red, if you have the confidence that goes along with it wearing it;) xx
