Fancy Pants

Hello everyone!

Hope the start of your week has been going great ūüôā

Since fall is finally here, I wanted to take full advantage of the cooler weather to wear these awesome printed pants.  They have such an amazing and cool pattern, while not being overwhelming at all.  I styled the rest of my outfit around them, making them pop.  To keep the outfit comfortable, I wore an oversized white crew-necked tee which I tucked into the pants, adding shape.  On top, I wore my favorite burgundy jean jacket which added the perfect amount of color and coverage to the look.  To give me an inch or two of extra height, I wore my white platform slip-ons which add interest to the outfit, while keeping it simple.  I kept it easy with accessories, adding my favorite silver rings, and go-to sunglasses.  I kept my eye makeup simple with thin winged eyeliner, and also wore a pop of color on the lips to compliment my jacket.

Hope you enjoyed this look and wishing you an awesome rest of the week! x

Summer Textures

Hello everyone!

To start off, happy summer!!

I’m so excited¬†to be off from school and surrounded by warm weather. ūüôā

When looking for the perfect background for todays look, we came across a distressed, baby-blue painted fence/doorway which I absolutely loved.¬† When looking for a background, I want it to be interesting and complementing to the outfit i’m wearing, while not being overly distracting.

Today my look consisted of soft, lighter textures, perfect for the hot temperatures. ¬†I started off with my favorite top for summer, which is this thin white¬†high-necked tank. ¬†To go along with the light tank, I paired it with these black¬†flowy¬†drawstring shorts, with little tassels hanging from the bottom. ¬†Keeping me covered,¬†while also adding an interesting pattern, was this blue and white pin-stripe button up. ¬†It’s my go-to piece for summer when a little extra coverage is needed. For this look, I also thought it went very nicely with the rest of my outfit. ¬†To finish off my look, my new black-leathered sandals were perfect. ¬†They go along with the simplicity of the outfit, but add the perfect amount of excitement. ¬†I will definitely be wearing them all summer. ¬†For accessories, I wore some of my go-to turquoise, silver rings as well as my favorite gold and silver initial/monogram necklaces. ¬†Adding a little extra edge to the look were my favorite round-framed¬†sunnies.

Hope you’re enjoying the warmer weather!! x

Stripes & Snowflakes

Hello everyone!

Hope your enjoying the first days of spring !! (& still snowy in NY…)

Since it’s still very chilly, I wanted to post another winter outfit. Today was all about patterns, especially stripes. I paired a warm, oversized navy knit sweater over this delicate white and navy pin-stripe button up. I love how it peeks out from the top and bottom of the sweater. To play with more stripes, I wore my favorite dark grey velvet-textured striped boot-leg jeans. They add an exciting detail to the outfit. I’m loving the striped pieces against each other;¬†pairing two patterns together, without being overwhelmingly crazy. For shoes, I wore my new cheetah platform slip-ons (which I will be wearing all spring). They not only compliment the outfit with the subtle cheetah print, but give me an inch or two:). For accessories, I added some of my favorite silver, turquoise and onyx rings. I also couldn’t resist from wearing my favorite vintage circle sunnies. To add a pop of color, I wore a deep red lip and kept it subtle on the eyes with a classic winged black liner. I also twisted a piece of hair and pinned it back to frame my face. (I love doing both sides of my hair, but for today I kept it to just one).

Wishing you an amazing rest of the weekend! x

Urban Feel

Hello everyone!

Hope you’re enjoying the weekend ūüôā

Today I was inspired by this awesome vest to find a cool background to take some shots in. ¬†I’m absolutely in love with this rustic, urban area which I find so cool. The main piece of my outfit is this new faux fur off-white vest I recently purchased. ¬†I’ve seen this “washed” fur look everywhere, and since its going to start getting warmer, I thought the vest was perfect. ¬†For now, It’s still freezing, so I decided to pair it over this warm, hooded black knit cardigan. ¬†To keep the focus on the vest, I added a simple and comfy basic grey-ish blue tee. I also paired my simple black skinnies and wore black patent leather docs to lengthen the look. ¬†For accessories, I wore my trusty, favorite onyx and turquoise silver rings, as well as a black chord choker which added some edge. ¬†For the perfect amount of color, this amazing red lip did the trick. ¬†I’m loving different lipstick colors right now, and can’t wait to add some more to my collection:)

Wishing you an amazing rest of the weekend! xx

Winter Denim

Hello!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope your holidays are going perfectly ūüôā

I’m off from school and relaxing, so thought i’d share one of my recent most comfy outfits.

Today wasn’t as cold as it usually is this time of year, so¬†I was excited to incorporate this awesome burgundy jean jacket instead of a warmer winter coat. ¬†I always take full advantage of when the sun comes out and it warms up, especially to try out looks not suited for colder months.

One of my year-round essentials¬†are¬†jean jackets, and when I found this oversized one, I fell in love. ¬†Although simple, it can transform a whole outfit. ¬†For warmth, I added a cozy lace-up pepper-speckled sweater. ¬†It’s a simple piece, but adds some excitement with the details. ¬†On the bottom, I added a pair of simple blue denim skinnies to keep it casual. ¬†Of course, to add¬†some edge to the look, I put on my favorite silver rings. ¬†My oval¬†turquoise ring¬†added just the perfect amount of color. ¬†Black patent Dr. Martens and my favorite horn-rimmed green-tortoise sunglasses completed the outfit¬†– perfect for this sunny chill/warm look.

Enjoy the time off and happy new year! xx

The Wool Coat

woolcoat wool2 hgjkl

Hello!

Hope everyone’s week is going well!

This past Sunday, I again spent the day in the city. ¬†After finishing my class at FIT, ¬†I was in need of a cozy cafe to do some work. ¬†I recently discovered this adorable place¬†with delicious coffee that i’m now obsessed with. ¬†Seven Grams Caffe is the most perfect place to grab an authentic cappuccino or hot drink of your choice, take a seat, and enjoy a moment of relaxation in the big city.

For my outfit I wanted to be comfortable, so this new, pepper-grey oversized v-neck sweater was a must. ¬†I paired it with my trusty black jeans for a put-together look. I recently went on a hunt for a wool coat (i’m seeing the trend everywhere), so¬†once I found this black Ralph Lauren one, my search was over. ¬†Black was perfect for my wardrobe, since most of my winter palette consists of grey, black and navy colors. ¬†Since i’m more on the petite side, this coat was the perfect length – not touching my toes, but not at my hip line. ¬†For my shoes, my black leather ankle¬†boots added a chic look to the outfit. ¬†The treaded bottom also added a little bit of edge. Along with it being pretty cold, and just generally loving hats, I had to add my grey beanie. It kept me warm, while being stylish. To add some accents, I added some of my favorite rings to finish it off.

Hope you have a great rest of the week! xx

Hello!

Hoping everyone’s week went well! Mine was pretty busy with school work so i’m happy I can now relax! Today was definitely extra chilly, so much warmth was needed. (I definitely wore a coat, but for the purpose of this post, I froze a little:)) ¬†I’ve seen the whole button-up under the sweater trend for quite some time, so I couldn’t wait to try it out! ¬†For this look, I went with a pretty neutral color palette, including mostly greys, whites and lil bit of black. ¬†I recently found this cozy turtle-neck sweater which I was dying to wear, so to add something extra, I paired a sheer white button-up under it. ¬†Keeping the bottom simple but exciting, I went for these black “shimmery” snake-skin printed skinnies. ¬†To add some shape, I rolled up the bottoms (of course) and slipped on these awesome studded platform high-tops. ¬†They are from a few seasons¬†ago, but i’m still in awe over them. ¬†For accessories, I wore some of my favorite rings, along with this charmed choker necklace. ¬†It’s actually supposed to be a wrap bracelet, but i’m kinda loving how it looks around my neck! ¬†To finish off the look, I added this grey beanie which I will be living in all winter.

Hope this inspired you ūüôā – xx
