The Wool Coat

Hello!

Hope everyone’s week is going well!

This past Sunday, I again spent the day in the city.  After finishing my class at FIT,  I was in need of a cozy cafe to do some work.  I recently discovered this adorable place with delicious coffee that i’m now obsessed with.  Seven Grams Caffe is the most perfect place to grab an authentic cappuccino or hot drink of your choice, take a seat, and enjoy a moment of relaxation in the big city.

For my outfit I wanted to be comfortable, so this new, pepper-grey oversized v-neck sweater was a must.  I paired it with my trusty black jeans for a put-together look. I recently went on a hunt for a wool coat (i’m seeing the trend everywhere), so once I found this black Ralph Lauren one, my search was over.  Black was perfect for my wardrobe, since most of my winter palette consists of grey, black and navy colors.  Since i’m more on the petite side, this coat was the perfect length – not touching my toes, but not at my hip line.  For my shoes, my black leather ankle boots added a chic look to the outfit.  The treaded bottom also added a little bit of edge. Along with it being pretty cold, and just generally loving hats, I had to add my grey beanie. It kept me warm, while being stylish. To add some accents, I added some of my favorite rings to finish it off.

Hope you have a great rest of the week! xx
