With Rihanna being one of my favorite artists and fashion icons,  I was so excited to hear that she had created a clothing line, G4LIFE.  Looking at pictures, i instantly became obsessed!  The patterns are awesome especially the camouflage and the thick stripes.  Im definitely going to have to order something, (aka – the oversized tee’s).  They are so unique and different, i’m gonna have to get my hands on some of them. If your into the grunge/edgy style,  you should definitely check it out.  The line brings out a masculine silhouette, which I think is pretty cool and I’m willing to try it out;)  The line isn’t fairly expensive,  so its good to treat yourself once in a while! xx

Fall Time!

Sweater: H&M
Denim Shorts: LF
Boots: Dr. Martens

So I wrote this post about a week ago on a chilly day, but never got to uploading it, so i’m going to now;)

With fall inching towards us and summer floating away, it was definitely time for me to open up my wardrobe to my sweater collection. Today i was looking for something that was airy and would keep me warm, but appropriate for summer. I chose this cream colored H&M sweater with holes near the shoulder area to add the fall inspired look to my outfit. I leaned towards a more grunge style by adding very distressed high waisted cutoffs, and my patent leather boots (Dr. Martens) which I am in love with!

Jewelry Obsession: Rings.

I can confidently say that i have a relationship with rings(lol). In each of my outfit posts, I am most likely wearing unique rings that I am currently in love with. Rings are basically my trade-mark;) The most amazing thing about rings are how they’re are SO many different styles, looks, shapes and sizes. thats what makes them each so cool:) I have 2 rings i wear everyday, and others i wear according to my outfit/theme of the day. (Going from left to right) The 2nd and 3rd ring are on me each day and night. The first, second, and the big one on the thumb are used more as add-on’s. (these aren’t my only rings, just the ones that looked good together:)

I find most rings in vintage stores/second hand shops, which is were i found ring 1, 2, 4 and 5. the thumb one was from Claire’s, believe it or not! You may just find a diamond in the rubble! (sorry for the cheesiness…)

By the way – These are my sisters hands, and my fuzzy socks which are beyond comfy (and from Rite-Aid;)

Obsession: Rings.

For todays outfit, I was going for more of a grunge look. Im in love with flannels, even more so for fall. I was walking around town before a hair appointment and came across this simple baby blue wall, which drew my attention because of the shabby chic accent it carried. I also thought my outfit would look cool against it;) I’ve also been getting into the whole “layering jewelry” look. (I’m kinda obsessed now…:) This outfit is also unbelievably comfy, especially for a day of walking! I took these photos earlier in the day, so by 4:00 I changed into leggings, which was just as cute! xx

My Shopping Motto...

So I don’t know about any of you, but my obsession is finding designer clothing for more then half the price. I mean, I think we can all appreciate a good sale! When I go shopping, instead of splurging on a great pair of jeans, (which is necessary once in a while) i’d rather get my hands on a couple great pairs for a fraction of the price. I’m also always scoping out great sales at the stores i’m in love with, but have ridiculously high prices. always make sure your up to date by knowing all the upcoming sales you don’t want to miss! I have definitely missed some great sales:( For todays post, I wanted to share my opinion on 2 of my favorite stores where I find great designer pieces, for less:) xx

P.S. I’m also in love with this quote<3<3

TJmaxx – It is definitely safe to say i am a “Maxxinista”(:D). TJmaxx has so many different styles and great versatile clothing and accessory pieces, the shoe section especially. I have found had some great luck finding Steve madden, Rampage, and Juicy Couture pairs! TJmaxx is either a big hit, or a big loose but its definitely worth your time!

Loehmanns – Loehmanns is by far my biggest recommendation to all my friends and family. I have had amazing success finding Wild Fox, Juicy Couture, 7 of all Mankind and Romeo and Juliet Couture clothing and accessory pieces. Its kinda crazy how low their prices are. (I recently purchased a Wild fox sweater for $38 which was originally $183!) Their shoe selection is also awesome. Loehmanns is also very much a hit or miss store, but from personal experience, I have done very well!

My Shopping Motto…

Tonight I was going out to dinner with a friend, and wanted to spice things up a bit:) I chose a very casual, comfy black dress and paired it with a lace button up to give more of a formal look to the outfit. (kinda obsessed)!  To add some height to my shortness, I buckled on my favorite casual wedges and for jewelry, I layered my monogram necklace and my Dodo octopus “choker” together.  I also had on my everyday silver rings, along with my favorite black stoned ring! (not shown in pictures):(
This is one of my favorite outfits, especially transitioning to fall!
